Dear Alumni,
The Digital Art Mile at Art Basel has become an integral part of the event, solidifying its presence as interest in NFT art continues to grow. This dynamic medium offers a perspective on art that extends beyond the traditional exhibition halls, revealing new possibilities in creativity, ownership, and digital expression.
As we remain dedicated to exploring this fascinating domain, we are immensely grateful to Matthias Rüthmüller for once again welcoming us into his gallery. His generosity enables us to host our Art Basel alumni gathering in a setting that fosters innovation and dialogue. We also look forward to his insightful introduction to NFT art, guiding us through its evolving impact on the art world.
Parallel to the Art Basel as a side fair, ArtMeta AG is organizing The Digital Art Mile along the Rebgasse in Kleinbasel. One of the three locations for this event is space31, located within the Basel Art Center. With the slogan “Bringing Digital Art to the World,” The Digital Art Mile focuses on showcasing digital art and NFTs.
space31, with its unique character as a reimagined retailer’s warehouse, will spotlight premier NFT galleries, platforms, and projects. Attendees are invited to gather in the third-floor break-out room. This space will host an introduction to the upcoming digital art fair and the specific exhibitions on display. Guests will also be treated to an apéro in this area, offering an opportunity for networking and initial discussions. Following the introductory session, the main exhibition will be accessible on the fourth floor, where visitors can immerse themselves in the diverse and cutting-edge digital artworks showcased.
