Ex-Credit Suisse executive woman heads the family office

For several years she worked directly for the then President of Credit Suisse, Urs Rohner. She now manages a family fortune worth 225 million francs in the canton of Zug.

The CC Trust Group, founded in 1997, the family office founded by the Swiss entrepreneur Claudio Cisullo, has appointed Lucia Waldner as its head, according to a statement on Friday. Waldner was previously responsible for the trust's group strategy and business development.

Starting next month, she will take on additional tasks related to the family office's growth strategy. According to the annual compilation of the richest Swiss in the business magazine “Bilanz”, Cisullo's assets amount to around 225 million francs. The group portfolio includes 16 companies and holdings in the biotechnology, services, leisure, health, real estate and technology sectors.

Versatile training

Before Waldner joined the Cisullo family office, she was head of the Credit Suisse research institute. After a brief mandate in Brussels, where she was lobbying for UBS and Credit Suisse, she moved to the CC Trust Group in Steinhausen near Zug in 2019.

Waldner holds an MBA from Oxford University, an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MA from Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. Among other things, she is a member of the Forbes Finance Council and is an alumna of the Haniel Foundation and the Open Society Foundation of George Soros.
